In 2023, I was lucky enough to help my dad plan his "once in a lifetime" elk hunt as he cashed in two plus decade's worth of preference points.  I was frustrated by the inability to quickly find the most important data about units that he was thinking of applying for, even when paying for multiple subscription services.

This poor experience, led me to start GuideOn as a bit of a hobby and passion project.  Why can't scouting the stats on a hunt or finding a guide be as easy as booking a short term rental or trading a stock?

I plan to add more states, more species, more years of data, and more detailed guide info for future seasons.
